There is also a rope way which takes you to top of the hill. You go there with your family or friends to spend some quality time. TAPKESHWAR:Tapkeshwar temple is an ancient temple of Lord shiva. It is situated 8km fromDehradun. Legend has is that the Mahadev here, have a small trickle of water, dropping on its head continuesly for many years, so the name Tapkeshwar meaning water falling in drops. There are many small temples with a huge statue of “BAJRANGBALI.”  A small river flows beside the temple. Beware of Monkeys and care ur self. ROBBER’S CAVE :Robber’s cave is the best location for site seeing. This is one of the most mysterious and natural caves with river inside it. This place is famous tourist attraction. A very strange natural phenomena happens here that a strem of water suddenly appears and then disappear . This is a great adventures spot. You can also enjoy many eating foods there It is a beautiful and calm spot for a picnic with family, friends and couples. TIBETAN BUDDHIST TEMPLE :This temple is located at a very peaceful place with beautiful architecture. The designs on the walls are outstanding. The large standing Buddha statue is amazing. This is Buddhist populated area where Tibetan refugees are staying. A very quite place to visit and spend some time with yourself. Mall Road :Mall road is the heart of city. This road is just 2-3km long and a very awesome view to DEHRADUN from here. This road had many big malls with all the leading brands. All things are available on this road. This is one of the busiest shopping centers. Clothes, jewelry, electronic, woolen, handicraft, carpets you can purchase anything you want. Food, drinks, cafeteria also there even at late night. Must visit Bazaar preferably in the evening.
